opsdeck reports what a game server tells it. This page lists exactly what that means, because a server owner has to be able to tell their players, and a player has to be able to ask.
What is stored
| Data | Where it comes from | Why |
|---|---|---|
In-game identifiers (e.g. license:…, steam:…) | your server's own events | to attribute sessions and staff actions to an account rather than a name |
| Player display names | your server | so the dashboard reads as names, not identifiers |
| Session start and end times | joins and leaves | retention reporting |
| Staff actions (actor, action, target, free-text detail) | your server | the audit trail and alerts |
| Currency and item movements | your server | economy alerts and reconciliation |
| Store purchases (SKU, amount, currency) | your server | matching deliveries against payments |
| Discord user ids, when a player links an account | the player, through a one-time code | role sync |
| Payment records from Tebex (transaction id, email, amount, package) | Tebex, on your store's webhook | activating a plan and reconciling purchases |
| Access tokens for the dashboard and your bot | issued by opsdeck | authentication; stored only as SHA-256 hashes |
What is never stored
- Chat messages. There is no chat logging in this product.
- IP addresses. They are not sent to us and not stored.
- Game files, memory contents or anything the server does not itself report.
- Passwords. There are none: access is by generated token.
Who can see it
The server owner (and their staff, if the owner shares the dashboard token) can see their own server's data. The operator of opsdeck can access the database for support, backups and abuse handling. Nobody else is given access, and data is never sold or shared for advertising.
Where it lives and for how long
On a single hosted machine with a persistent volume, backed up nightly. Data for a server is kept while that server's account is active and deleted within 30 days of a written deletion request to [OPERATOR: contact email].
Sub-processors
- Tebex — payment processing and merchant of record for subscriptions and for your store's webhooks.
- [OPERATOR: hosting provider] — the machine and volume the service runs on.
- Discord — only if you run the bot: it reads your guild's members and applies roles.
Cookies
None. The dashboard keeps its access token in your browser's local storage so you do not have to paste it on every visit, and there is no analytics, tracking pixel or third-party script on this site.
Your rights
A player whose server uses opsdeck can ask that server's owner for a copy of what is held about them, or for deletion, and can reach the operator at [OPERATOR: contact email] if the owner does not respond. Deletion requests are honoured within 30 days.
